As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Bank, you play a vital role in an agile team dedicated to enhancing, building, and delivering reliable, market-leading technology products with a focus on security, stability, and scalability.

As a key technical contributor, you are tasked with implementing essential technology solutions across diverse technical domains, supporting various business functions to achieve the firm's strategic goals.

You will be part of digital platform group that focuses on delivering best-in-class digital experience to 80+ million Chase customers and many business partners and it's fueled by technology stack that is build using modern engineering practices, tools and platform.

Job responsibilities


* Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems


* Lead the development, and integration of Java-based applications and APIs


* Execute software solutions, design, development, and identify hidden problems and patterns in platform and drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture


* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams while driving best practices in software engineering, code quality, and architecture.


* Architect and implement scalable, reliable, and secure solutions on AWS


* Oversee the integration of third-party vendor products with in-house systems and ensure it leads to seamless API development and deployment


* Manage AWS infrastructure provisioning and oversee Kubernetes configuration and management


* Work on automation driven solution using java, python to improve overall platform process and practices


* Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes while ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of cloud resources.


* Collaborate with DevOps engineers to optimize deployment workflows and release management and troubleshoot pipeline and deployment issues


* Work closely with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver platform features to communicate technical concepts and project status updates

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills


* Formal training or certification on Software Engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience


* Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing and operational stability


* Proficiency in coding in Java language


* Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
