Job Description

Job Summary

Stewart Valuation Intelligence, an appraisal management company, is seeking a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in quality control, preferably within the appraisal industry.

This role involves conducting thorough reviews of property appraisals using a standardized checklist to ensure accuracy and compliance with lender guidelines.

The ideal candidate will identify discrepancies or areas needing clarification and communicate necessary revisions to appraisers or clients in a timely and professional manner.

Job Responsibilities


* Responsible for reviewing appraisals to ensure information captured is error-free and accurate


* Reviews quality reports to identify trends, issues and root causes and makes recommendations for change


* Participates in implementing quality processes to ensure operations are of the highest quality


* Performs a wide range of support functions to assist in departmental processes


* Follows clearly defined procedures to complete daily tasks and responsibilities


* Uses existing procedures to solve straightforward problems without the consistent need to exercise discretion


* Uses basic communication skills to address internal and/or external clients and/or team members


* Individual contributor working under direct supervision with little autonomy


* Performs all other duties as assigned by management

Education


* High school diploma required; Bachelor’s preferred

Experience


* Typically requires 0-2 years of related work experience
