Job Description:

This hybrid position may be based at any Johnson & Johnson office in New Jersey (Titusville, Horsham, or Raritan).

The role requires both an in-depth knowledge of existing advanced analytics practices and approaches including Machine Learning, Simulation, Statistics, basics of data pipelines and advanced visualization and the ability to influence and convince others and customize and work in a multidisciplinary environment to drive business solutions.

Knowledge of application of advanced analytics to manufacturing and especially pharmaceutical / healthcare / medical device manufacturing is highly desirable.

The candidate will report to Director of J&J Supply Chain Data Science.

Responsibilities:


* Gather requirements for development of machine learning based solutions targeted to our pharmaceutical manufacturing sites


* Work closely with functions such as manufacturing, quality and other site subject matter experts


* Develop machine learning/simulation modeling proofs-of-concept (PoCs) that address key operational problems and generate business value.

Validate those with operational experts


* Work with data engineers and visualization experts to scale-up those PoCs into full fledged solutions


* Stay on the cutting edge of data science research and big data technologies


* Work closely with colleagues to keep up-to-date with the latest approaches and advances in data science and evaluate vendor tools and external data sets as required



* Works to achieve operational, functional, and/or business targets with impact on Data Science results.


* Creates, tests, validates, and deploys complex, multi-stage models and/or scaling up of existing models and deep learning techniques.
