Controllership Accountant

This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:


* Provides complex, financial analysis for a financial function or a business.


* Establishes and maintains relationships with business leaders to guide and influence decision-making.


* Provides analytics to business initiatives, typically representing a sub-function within finance for a particular business.


* Ensure compliance and timely monthly VAT return submission, WHT reports, Bank Of Israel reporting, statistical surveys, statutory payments, Annual EY audit and AFS and tax return support


* Supports policy and process improvement and identifies opportunities.

Education and Experience Required:


* First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) preferred.


* CPA (Israel) - Must


* Typically 4+ years of experience as audit/tax advisor at one of the big 4 firms


* Typically experienced in more than one finance function.

Knowledge and Skills:


* Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.


* Strong analytical skills.


* Strong business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, SAP advantage).


* Strong communication and influencing skills.


* Excellent teamwork skills


* Good business acumen.


* Structured and organized.


* Self starter / independent/ motivated
