Exterior Workplace Operations Associate

Job Description

IntelliSource is seeking to hire an Exterior Operations Associate in Austin, Texas.

In this role, you will support the upkeep, maintenance, and improvement of our facility's exterior areas while also assisting with broader Workplace Operations tasks.

You'll handle a variety of responsibilities-from diagnosing and resolving maintenance issues to moving equipment, supporting events, and ensuring our site remains safe, clean, and efficient.

Responsibilities


* Observe, diagnose, and troubleshoot minor plumbing, electrical, and general building issues, or coordinate with the appropriate vendors when needed.


* Identify and report exterior maintenance needs or updates for grounds, lighting, signage, and building surfaces.


* Load and unload trucks, ensuring merchandise and materials are moved efficiently to designated areas.


* Support Workplace Operations with tasks such as setting up furniture, transporting pallets, assisting with event logistics, and maintaining outdoor work zones.


* Conduct inventory checks to ensure accurate stock and equipment levels.


* Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment, including sweeping, debris removal, and exterior upkeep.


* Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, lifts, and small electric or hand tools.


* Follow all safety policies, procedures, and best practices to promote a safe and compliant workplace.


* Complete all assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining high attention to detail.


* Perform other duties and assist with additional projects or tasks as requested by Workplace Management to support overall Workplace Operations goals.


* Look for ways to cut costs and streamline processes.


* Development of Standard Operating Procedures for Material Handling.

Requirements


* Hands-on tools experience with strong maintenance and repair background.


* Prior experience in plumbing and/or electrical troubleshooting preferred.


* Previous experience in a warehouse, facilities, or labor-intensive environment.


* Ability to lift and move objects up to 35 lbs.


* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and task ownership.


* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.


* Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.


* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


* Positive, proactive, and customer-service-oriented attitude with a "can-do" mindset.


* Ability to balance big-picture awareness with focus on detailed execution.
