• Through experiences, students gain exposure to careers within healthcare including business, finance, human resources, hospital operations, patient experience, nursing and more.

• For each of these opportunities, the intern will partner with leaders on special projects, department operations, and processes improvement.
Key Responsibilities


* Assist in monitoring cybersecurity tools and dashboards.


* Engage in organizational e-learning and computer-based training (CBTs) to become familiar with tools and procedures.


* Help identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.


* Support incident response efforts and assist with documentation.


* Participate in internal security audits and compliance assessments.


* Research current cybersecurity threats, indicators, vulnerabilities, and trends.


* Contribute to the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.


* Participate in team discussions related to organizational cybersecurity concerns.


* Assist with security awareness and training programs.


* Maintain documentation of systems, processes, and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

Required


* Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.


* Completion of at least one upper-level (300-level or equivalent) course or three mid-level (200-level) courses in relevant subjects.


* Basic understanding of networking, operating systems, and cybersecurity principles.


* Familiarity with security technologies (e.g., antivirus, firewalls, SIEM).


* Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.


* Demonstrated eagerness to learn and grow in the cybersecurity field.

Preferred


* Experience working in enterprise Windows environments.


* Relevant coursework or certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, etc.).

Salary: $21 hourly rate
