We are searching for the best talent for a Medical Science Liaison, Hematology to be in Ontario, Canada.
Purpose:
The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is the field-based advocate of Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine and is accountable for the execution of the field medical plan.
They are the scientific point of contact for key opinion leaders (KOLs) in a given territory and help address medical, scientific, and research needs.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Develop/maintain scientific expertise to translate data into an applicable knowledge and communication platform.
* Present and disseminate clinical and scientific data in a balanced manner to key opinion leaders and other healthcare professional (HCPs), individually or in group settings.
* Build trusted relationships with KOLs and HCPs, based on scientific credibility and clear engagement plans.
* Attend relevant scientific meetings/conferences and develop summaries of key data and insights.
* Gather and communicate insights from key individuals (KIs) to support and progress TA strategy.
* Lead/participate in medical and scientific forums (e.g., ad boards and medical education events) where KIs are involved.
* Support investigator-initiated studies (IIS), local and global clinical development programs, and medical projects within the therapeutic area.
* Collaborate with and provide expert clinical support to business partners (i.e.
Market Access, Medical Education, Sales and Marketing, etc., as appropriate).
* Provide regional medical perspective to influence the Medical Affairs strategic plan.
* Support the Medical publication plan.
