The Senior Process Engineer in the MSAT team is responsible for manufacturing processes (intermediates and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API)) and provides technical support to measure process performance and implement improvements in cycle time, yield, and quality to support process and operational efficiency.
They support introduction and validation of new and existing products, and provides input and experience for new equipment design, installation and qualification.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provide day-to-day support of assigned processes.
* Create and maintain documentation such as batch production records, operational procedures, criticality analysis, and key and controlled parameter documents.
* Conduct or participate in improvement efforts by analysis and correction of both process and equipment issues to maintain and enhance existing site operations.
* Responsible for process surveillance programs on issues such as process control, yields, cycle times, quality, and change over, and using data and analytics to drive improvements.
* Lead and implement process and cleaning validation of new & existing products, often in partnership with global colleagues.
* Apply appropriate risk management tools such as FMEA, HAZOP, LOPA, and business risk evaluations to maintain and/or improve operational safety.
