Maintenance Planner

Montana Resources, LLC is looking for a Maintenance Planner to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess a background in mining or other related industries, however it is not required.

* 10+ years of maintenance experience preferred.


* Proven experience within the areas of reliability and root cause analysis preferred.


* 5 or more years leading and developing teams preferred.


* Advanced computer and communication skills required.


* Positive work group cooperation with various departments and vendors required.


* Willingness to work outside regular business hours due to our 24x7 environment.


* Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing objectives.

HOURS: Dayshift, and call outs



* Plan, schedule, track, and budget major maintenance activities for the following areas: Shovels, Drills, Crushing & Conveying, Dust Collection, and Garage.


* Coordinate daily maintenance activities by meeting with both operation and maintenance foremen.


* Provide supervisors and employees with necessary training, tooling, equipment, and other resources to perform duties safe and efficiently.


* Create daily, monthly, and annual reports.

Reports include: budgets, cost alibis, and capital justifications.


* Promote and facilitate continuous improvement projects.


* Implement and utilize Minestar, J.D.

Edwards, and Power BI to optimize data reporting.


* Participate in screening and interview processes.


* Oversight of safety and inspection reports
