* Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety and/or Environmental Engineering


* Minimum 2 years of professional experience in an environmental, health, and/or safety function


* Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:


* Knowledge of Aerospace forging, machining, & fastening processes preferred


* Strong knowledge and experience in interpreting, applying and documenting federal, state and local safety and environmental regulations


* Strong organizational and communication skills


* Familiarity and implementation of machine guarding and industrial hygiene programs


* Experience with emergency response communication and incident management in incidents involving hazardous and non-hazardous material releases to air, soil, and water


* Strong proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and related computer skills


* Knowledge of general OSHA Regulations, Fire Department Agency


* Knowledge of Health and Safety Programs (i.e., Powered Industrial Trucks, LOTO, Fall Protection)


* Knowledge of Environmental Permits: CUPA, RCRA, Sanitation District Permits, South Coast AQMD, Water Boards, Los Angeles Department of Public Works,
