The Regional Vice President of Operations oversees and ensures the assigned communities' operational success including regulatory compliance and adherence to American Senior Communities goals.
What will you be doing and how will you make a difference at American Senior Communities?
* Ensures excellence in patient care and customer service is practiced at all times.
* Promotes census development.
* Achieves goals principally through supporting Executive Directors and Department Leaders and holding them accountable for their outcomes and performance.
* Assists with budget preparations, monitors revenue and expenses, and completes weekly reports.
* Visits properties and completes operations review in key performance and quality areas.
* Assist with business and marketing & admissions plans in development for each property and reviews those to ensure goals are attained.
* Ensures ongoing Care Quality programs are in place and maintained.
* Monitors labor expenses, P&L, PPD, and develops action plans to reduce variances.
* Ensures each property meets "First Impression" standards and has active Safety program, monitors OSHA compliance and Worker’s Compensation.
* Interviews and hires staff in key roles, providing training in collaboration with respective Home Office Staff.
* Directs Home Office consultants to areas of focus and follow-up on issues and concerns.
* Ensures appropriate communication between Home Office to identify and solve any concerns.
* Ensures communication to CEO, COO and Directors is maintained
Requirements:
* Active Indiana Healthcare Facility Administrator’s (HFA) license.
* Demonstrates C.A.R.E.

* Strong passion for excellence in senior care and a commitment to employee and leadership development.
* Bachelor's degree.
* Ability to think objectively and critically to resolve both unexpected and ongoing issues.
* Ability to track expenses, budget preparation and execution.
