Location: This is a remote role.
We are ideally seeking candidates in Eastern, Central, or Mountain Time Zones.
What You Will Do
* Collaborate with Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineers to develop new products and improve existing ones
* Perform Signal Integrity design, simulation, and test/measurement as part of a cross-functional Product Development team
* Use ANSYS Electromagnetic Suite for signal integrity simulations
* Conduct test and measurement activities using Network Analyzers or Time Domain Reflectometers (TDRs)
* Work on products such as coaxial connectors, cable assemblies, board-to-board connectors/arrays, and antennas
* Design and develop test vehicles including test PCBs and fixtures to validate or qualify product performance
* Provide customer support for both new and existing products
* Interact with customers to understand performance requirements for new products
* Create PCB launch recommendations for customers using our PCB connectors
* Support Production and Quality teams as needed
* Establish optimal Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) settings to improve production speed and accuracy
* Provide consultation for failure analysis and quality assurance
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
* At least one year of product design experience with a basic understanding of materials, mechanics, and manufacturing processes and tools
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* 1 year of experience in the use of signal integrity simulation software
What Will Put You Ahead
* Ability to apply Electromagnetic Theory and analyze S-parameters
* Experience with Ansys Electromagnetics Suite (HFSS, SIwave, Designer, etc.)
* Experience with Vector Network Analyzers (VNA), Time Domain Reflectometers (TDR), and Oscilloscopes
* Simulation and testing of coaxial cables, connectors and/or antennas
* Knowledge of High Speed Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design
