DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Present the results of risk and PnL to front office on a daily basis.

Define controls and processes required to support daily functions.

Utilize robust controls to ensure desk exposure to human error is limited.

Prepare and present metrics to senior management to identify gaps in current control processes and provide solutions.

Work closely with other support functions (technology, operations, legal, compliance, product control, back office) to ensure the best operating model for front office.

Tie out trading models into risk management system and ensure proper valuation is captured for risk management of the desk.

Continually evaluate and raise deficiencies within day-to-day functions to technology to ensure a seamless trade workflow.

Provide feedback to senior management on operational problems and how it can be translated into technology initiatives.

Utilize basic project management skills while working with technology to offer the best solutions.

Appropriately identify differences in pricing models and raise accordingly.

Work with technology to develop trade models to provide trading strategies to be utilized by the front office.

Understand front to back system flows to remediate issues and identify solutions.

Ensure proper cross-training within the team for sufficient coverage of tasks and responsibilities.

Create standard operating models (SOP) for all processes and controls for proper handover amongst teammates.

Stay up-to-date on markets and key economic dates to provide proper coverage/support to front office.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field of study plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or as Trading Services, Trading Associate, Trading Analyst, or related occupation.

Will accept pre- or post-Bachelor's degree experience.

Skills Required: This position requires 4 years (48 months) of pre or post-bachelor's experience with the following: Front to back trade life cycle flow for rates products; Balance Sheet optimization through trade hubbing and compression cycles for cost- reduction; Risk components and relative calculation for derivative products; Risk sensitivity; first and second order Greeks; reporting CFTC and ESMA eligible trades; Non-Cleared Margin Requirements (NCMR); evaluating which clients, products, and dates apply for initial margin, variation margin; the change of LIBOR cessation to risk free rates, specifically SOFR; interest rate products including both OTC and ETP including economic differences, valuations, and risk and working with the economic implications of both; clear products (MTC); swap execution facilities (SEF); central counterparty clearing houses (CCP); derivative products; life cycle events; legal representation/documentation of life cycle events for derivative products.

Will accept pre- or post- Bachelor's degree experience.
