Job Description

This AutoZoner is responsible of managing, auditing, and processing transportation vendors' invoices for both DCs in order for Accounts Payables to program the payment for the services provided, reporting accruals during period closings, and assuring the vendors' invoice statements are up to date.

Responsibilities



* Execute and supervise all logistic activities with inland carriers, as well as 3PL employees who move merchandise between AutoZone Vendors and Distribution Center and viceversa by tracking the traffic control, to guarantee on time deliveries, identify desviations and take the proper corrective actions.


* Responsible of review and provide all the documentation to ensure merchandise flow in and out our Distribution Center, including by not limited activities with carriers, vendors and some other internal departments for all Incountry collect (PLAZ ) vendors


* Develop improvement projects for incountry collect (PLAZ) vendors shipments in and out of AZ DC's such as but not limited to transit time reduction, consolidation points, on time deliveries, demurage fees, deviations, cost savings, to improved the Supply Chain lead time.


* Provide visibility and certainty about the delivery dates across Supply Chain Team and crossfunctional areas, for all InCountry collect (PLAZ) vendors shipments


* Supervise and approve 3PL transactions for timely settlement coordinating with accounts payable


* Analize freight cost reports and KPIs for all Incountry logistic operacion in weekly basis.

Qualifications



* Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.


* Area of Study: International Bussines, or Logistic bachelor


* Years of Experience: Three to five years.


* Type of Experience: Logistics, Traffic, Distribution operations, Domestic Logistics Projects


* Special Certifications or Technical Skills: TMS, YMS and Managing on Logistics plattaforms


* Other/Preferred: Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work with and contribute to a team.
