We are searching for the best talent for a Director, Medical Operations to be in Toronto, Canada.
Purpose:
The Director, Medical Operations is a member of the Medical Affairs Leadership Team (MALT), reporting to the VP of Medical Affairs.
The Director will have overall leadership and accountability for the Medical Operations team that supports Medical Affairs and the overall Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines (JJIM) Canada business within areas of MA Business Compliance & Operations, Materials Review, Innovative Medical Solutions and the operations of Evidence Generation.
This role will provide the strategic direction and planning for the following key areas and teams:
* Research Compliance
* Medical Affairs Solutions and Technology (Medical CRM, Data & Analytics, J&J Science Connect)
* Medical Affairs Operations
* Review of company materials (promotional and non-promotional materials)
* Transparency Reporting for JJIM Canada in compliance with the regulations
* HCP Value Transfer for JJIM Canada
* Medical Education and Patient Organization Grant Management
You will be responsible for:
* working in close alignment with the Medical Affairs Leadership Team (MALT) comprised of Therapeutic Area Medical Affairs which includes Medical Science, Medical Education, Evidence Generation and Medical Communications/Medical Information.
* effectively aligning JJIM Canada Medical Affairs strategy with overall company objectives.
* providing strategic direction, line management, coaching and development for the Medical Operations team.
* providing oversight for the MA Operations, Research Compliance, Material Review, Data Analytics & Insights and MA Solutions teams including compliance related system deployments and enhancements.
