Sales and Rental Manager

Our construction equipment group is seeking a full-time Sales and Rental Manager to report to the Oakwood Village, OH branch.

The Sales & Rental Manager will lead our sales and rental operations, driving revenue growth and market penetration primarily for the DEVELON brand.

This role combines leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on involvement in marketing initiatives, inventory selection, and customer engagement.

Responsibilities of the position consist of, but are not limited to:


* Team Leadership: Manage and mentor Territory Account and Segment Managers to achieve sales and rental targets.


* Market Growth: Develop and execute strategies to expand DEVELON's presence in Northeast Ohio.


* Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team on campaigns across all media channels and participate in customer events and trade shows.


* Inventory Management: Play a key role in selecting new equipment and rental fleet inventory to meet market demand.


* Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and industry partners.


* Performance Oversight: Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and conduct regular reviews.


* Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with rental, product support, inventory and administrative teams for seamless customer experience.

Qualifications


* 5+ years of experience in sales leadership, preferably in construction equipment or related industries.


* Proven success in driving market share growth and managing rental operations.


* Strong understanding of equipment applications, customer buying cycles, and territory management.


* Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.


* Proficiency with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.


* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within assigned territory.
