Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious EH&S Leadership Development Associate to join our team.

This position is designed for early college graduates looking to jumpstart their careers in Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S).

The Associate will participate in a comprehensive two-year leadership development program, gaining hands-on experience while supporting our EH&S initiatives.Qualifications

Education and Experience


* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Occupational Health, Safety, or a related field (recent graduates preferred).


* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.


* Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.


* Strong organizational skills.


* Basic knowledge of EH&S regulations and standards is a plus.


* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).


* Willing to relocate and travel

Physical Demands


* Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, which may include safety equipment or materials.


* Walking/Standing: Frequent walking and standing during inspections or training sessions.


* Climbing: Ability to climb ladders or scaffolding to assess safety conditions at height.


* Stooping and Kneeling: Regular stooping or kneeling to inspect equipment or facilities.


* Vision: Good visual acuity for reading labels, safety signs, and conducting inspections.


* Hearing: Ability to hear and understand alarms, warnings, and verbal instructions in noisy environments.


* Dexterity: Good hand-eye coordination for operating safety equipment and tools.


* Environmental Tolerance: Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including outdoor settings, extreme temperatures, and hazardous locations with proper protective gear.
