Hours: 7am-3:30pm

Days: Mon-Fri

Under the direction of the Shift Leader and Production Supervisor/Manager, the Production /Maintenance Operator is responsible for the set up and operation of equipment which blends/mixes/produces/packages/transports the liquid or dry chemicals that comprise our customer products.

The Maintenance operator portion is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant and assumes responsibility for maintaining the physical assets of the property.

This position will be responsible for a wide variety of general building maintenance, maintaining site services and manufacturing equipment repairs and services.

Every employee must ensures safety is their #1 priority; they produce the highest quality product at the lowest possible costs while meeting customer specifications and delivery requirements in accordance with Avient Corporation policies and procedures.Qualifications



* High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification or training in manufacturing or maintenance preferred.


* Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate and troubleshoot various types of equipment.


* Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair techniques, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.


* Familiarity with health and safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.


* Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.


* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.


* Willingness to undergo training and stay updated with industry advancements and best practices.


* Physical ability to perform tasks that may require standing, lifting, and working in various positions.


* Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing production demands.
