Accountant
SUMMARY:
The Accountant will use business and accounting skills to maintain and evaluate operational data for the Armstrong - Tulsa agency.
The Accountant is responsible for agency level accounting functions, including, but not limited to general accounting, payables & receivables, financial reporting, spend analysis, material & labor variance analysis, billing & invoicing, and forecasting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Financial responsibilities include General Ledgers, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing and Invoicing, Revenue Distribution, and Financial Reporting.
* Ensure all defined work is performed within the timeframes allotted for each functional financial process.
* Ensure all billing functions, including invoicing, revenue distribution, and ratings are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
* Ensure compliance with all accounting and financial policies, practices, procedures, and initiatives at the Plant level.
* Manage all accounting, bookkeeping, and financial matters.
* Any other duties as assigned by the manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business accounting, or finance preferred.
* Understanding of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures.
* 2+ years of accounting work experience preferred.
* Moderate to Advanced-user experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) preferred.
* Experience with NetSuite software preferred.
* Ability and willingness to keep maintain confidentiality.
* Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently.

* Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
* This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 10 pounds.
