As an ETF operations analyst within the Fund Servicing team, you will be supporting our Basket Operations Team that is responsible for the ETF Servicing offering at JP Morgan.
Job responsibilities
* Execute routine fund servicing transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established guidelines and procedures.
* Collaborate with operations to streamline processes and enhance efficiency in fund servicing operations.
* Utilize active listening and questioning skills to understand and address client needs, fostering strong relationships and promoting deeper understanding.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, applying innovation and design thinking techniques to enhance the efficiency and resilience of our operating platform.
* Manage all ETF order activity and related queries
* Be responsible for the daily management of a client's trading activity including reviewing reconciliation breaks on Shares and Valuation and related client queires
* Be responsible for daily publication of key deliverables to DTCC/NSCC
* Participate in industry working groups, initiatives and current events related to ETF
* Reconcile accurately and efficiently against all core controls and procedures for all relevant ETF and TA deliveries
* Participate in discussions with Fund Sponsors looking to launch new ETF products
* Provide monthly KPI reporting to clients and senior management
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
* Baseline knowledge or equivalent expertise in fund servicing operations, with a focus on executing routine transactions and process improvements.
* Proven ability to apply active listening and questioning techniques to understand and address client needs effectively.
* Experience in continuous improvement initiatives, with a focus on applying innovation and design thinking techniques to enhance operational efficiency.
* Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of industry experience
* Quick learner both technical knowledge and systems
* Strong analytical, prioritization, organizational, managerial and time management skills
* Ability to be effective in a global operating environment and a matrix management organization
* Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with clients and counterparties
* Excellent customer service skills with attention to detail
* Results orientated; ability to create and sustain a target driven environment
