About the Opportunity  

 

 The Audit Assistant Vice President (AVP) serves at the discretion of the Senior Vice President (SVP) and General Auditor.

Responsibilities include the planning and execution of annual audit plans for National IT and System IT operations, including large-scale business transformation and technology programs.  Responsibilities also include leading performance management, staff administration and development activities, participating as a member of the department’s senior leadership team, and other duties as assigned in support of the Department’s mission, goals and objectives.

This role will also represent the Fifth District Audit Department through active participation and thought leadership in a variety of Bank and System committees and governance groups including but not limited to the Board of Directors’ Audit and Risk Committee, FRS Board of Governors, US Treasury, external auditors, and the Government Accountability Office (GAO).  

 

This position will be based on-site 5 days a week in Richmond, VA.  

 

What You Will Do: 


* In collaboration with the SVP and General Auditor, develop and implement the audit strategy, goals and objectives ensuring alignment with overall Bank/System IT values, culture and strategy.  



* Provide strategic and thought leadership to lead, plan, schedule, direct and perform audits of National IT and System IT operations and large-scale business transformation and technology programs in compliance with professional standards.

Activities include the development and maintenance of risk assessments for auditable entities and the execution of the annual audit plan by providing strategic direction and support with audit scheduling, resources, and budget.  



* Supports Federal Reserve System-wide audit objectives by participating in Conference of General Auditors (COGA) sponsored activities.
