Construction Manager

Enersense Engineering Oy is currently looking for a skilled and experienced Construction Manager to join our client's team in Porvoo, Finland.

This will be a permanent role and the work will start as soon as possible.

Main tasks and responsibilities:


* Coordinate, plan and execute installation and assembly operations on site and in the prefabrication workshop with minimal supervision


* Maintain accurate records, project documents and progress reports


* Schedule and follow up on-site execution works


* Organize and prepare workplaces for installation works


* Manage tools and material supply


* Lead and supervise company staff and temporary workforce


* Manage subcontractors performance


* Responsible for on-site safety organization and ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies


* Support for establishment of welding execution and documentation system


* Support for the establishment of a QA/QC system


* Serve as the on-site contact for customers

Requirements:


* Educational background in mechanical engineering


* Several years of professional experience in managing and supervising piping construction, steel structure and pressure equipment construction sites


* Strong knowledge of site management, including scope, schedule and cost control


* Confident and professional demeanor with all project stakeholders


* Proficient in MS Office, MS Project experience preferred


* Proven leadership and team-working abilities; experience in motivating staff


* Driving license class B; B/C1E desirable


* Willingness to travel for single or multiple days and occasionally for several months to construction sites in Germany and other European countries


* Resilience, flexibility and strong customer orientation


* Good communication skills in Finnish and English, German skills considered an advantage
