Purpose: J&J MedTech Vision Supply Chain is embarking on a Lean transformation to accelerate and innovate in the áreas of waste reduction, operational efficiency, and supply reliability.
This role will support leadership in driving consistent total delivered cost improvement year over year, building a best-in-class supply chain, designing improvement roadmaps, and developing Lean capabilities for the future.
You will be responsible for:
* Provide expertise on Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen methodology, processes, and tools
* Implement continuous improvement initiatives using various Lean methodologies and principles (e.g., 5S, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Kaizen, etc.)
* Track progress, report metrics, and provide leadership team updates
* Collect and/or create best-in-practice tools across internal, external, and industry sources; lead training and implementation of tools across JJV supply chain
* Deliver against the JJV and functional productivity, cost, inventory, capacity, and lead time annual and long-term goals
* Instill a culture of continuous improvement, and a mindset of challenging the status quo
* Adapt to a constantly evolving environment and leverage change as an opportunity to improve processes and tools
* Plan and deliver trainings in improvement methodologies to raise the organizational acumen
