* Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems.

Will accept 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.


* Minimum 3 years' experience with SQL Database Technologies.


* Ability to travel up to 25%


* Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.

* This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


* Extensive experience with DBA front-end and back-end tools


* Excellent problem-solving skills


* Hands-on experience with SQL database management.


* Windows Operating system experience


* Working knowledge and experience working with various scripting languages, including but not limited to PowerShell.


* Strong verbal and written communication skills.


* Excellent analytical and Organizational skills.


* Ability to work in a self-directed or team environment.

This SQL database administrator position will be located in the Howmet Engines Shared services department and involves working in a close cross-functional team environment supporting Howmet's IT Infrastructure.

This position involves:


* Proactively performing database monitoring and performance tuning.


* Help implement and maintain DB security controls that align with industry and regulatory requirements.
