Payments Technology Business Manager - Associate

Join our team as a Technology Finance Business Manager, where you will partner with senior technology managers to build financial plans, drive transparency, and support large-scale productivity initiatives.

This high-impact role offers the opportunity to influence technology expense management and deliver insights to senior leadership.

As a Technology Finance Business Manager within the Commercial & Investment Bank, you will collaborate with senior management to develop financial plans, analyze performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Your role involves managing headcount and financial processes, providing executive reporting, and supporting monthly and annual planning cycles.

Job Responsibilities:


* Partner with senior technology managers to build financial plans and conduct budget, forecast, and variance analysis.


* Assist in interpreting performance vs.

plan and financial forecasting results.


* Ensure processes provide transparency on expenses, focusing on key drivers.


* Support large-scale productivity agendas and identify cost-saving opportunities.


* Provide insight and transparency around technology expenses, delivery schedules, and resource agendas.


* Deliver management and client reporting, focusing on business unit performance against objectives.


* Proactively highlight issues and risks, derive solutions, and drive remedies to completion.


* Build strong relationships with Controlling, P&A, and Strategy teams.


* Manage headcount and financial processes, including monthly forecasting and annual planning.


* Oversee the monthly financial reporting process, including executive management reporting.


* Apply knowledge of FinOps and AWS costing methodologies to financial management.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:


* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related area.


* 3 years of experience in Technology Business Management and Financial Management.


* Prior experience in Business Management or COO role.


* Proven experience delivering timely, high-quality presentations and reporting.


* Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.


* Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Pivot Tables).


* Self-motivated, tenacious, and able to work independently.


* Excellent written and oral communication skills.


* Strong time management and prioritization skills.


* Attention to detail with a continuous focus on design excellence.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:


* Experience with FinOps and AWS costing methodologies.
