Software Engineer [Multiple Positions Available]
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Design, develop and implement software solutions.
Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices.
Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules.
Craft clean, maintainable, and optimized code, following established software development best practices.
Identify or troubleshoot application code- related issues.
Take active role and participate in rigorous code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and maintain high code quality and ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications.
Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows.
Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.
Collaborate with diverse teams to conceptualize, design, and deliver new features.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and evolving software development methodologies to foster continuous learning and improvement.
Actively contribute to refining development processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and quality.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Technical Architect, Java Developer, Software Developer, or related occupation.
The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered.

Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Using application, data, and infrastructure architecture principles, along with designing and developing complex, distributed systems using microservices architecture; Containerizing technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes; Using cloud platforms such as AWS and CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments; Utilizing SQL and NoSQL database technologies and optimization strategies; Using Java and J2EE for building scalable, high-performance server-side applications, leveraging the Spring Framework including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate for microservices development; Designing and implementing RESTful APIs for service-to-service communication, and using databases such as Oracle, MongoDB, and GraphQL;...
