Weekend Front Receptionist/Activities Assistant-Full Time

Position: Front Receptionist and Activities Assistant

The Palmettos of Bluffton is seeking a Activities Assistant to join our.

Every weekend is part of the schedule.

Applicant must have a desire to work with seniors, be compassionate, caring and creative.

The ideal candidate must be energetic, highly organized and have knowledge of the domains of wellness as it relates to programming in long term care.

Your goal would be to provide daily meaningful activities that enhance the quality of life for our residents.

Position Highlights:


* Lead the Activities team and provide support, developing and implementing a well-rounded Activities program for all patients to include evenings and weekends, celebrating holidays and big events (When this virus is over)


* Timely completion of assessments, care plans and associated paperwork


* Supervising activities assistants to include training, scheduling, etc.


* Ensuring that all local, State and Federal guidelines regarding programming are met


* Lead and follow activity calendar


* Partnering with other departments to support marketing efforts in the community


* Other duties as assigned

Position Highlights:


* Greet and assist visitors.


* Answer telephone in a pleasant clear voice, using proper English.

Screen or transfer calls, taking and delivering messages when appropriate.


* Complete and assemble admission package.


* File various documents.


* Weekends only and two/three days a week

Experience


* Prior experience performing receptionist duties and healthcare experience preferred


* Must be able to provide excellent customer service while multi-tasking numerous calls and responding to the needs of customers visiting our healthcare center


* Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
