Electrical Design Engineer

What will you do?


* Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your key areas of responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
+ Preparation of various stages of design from concept through to detailed submissions for MV & LV networks.
+ Produce or modify engineering deliverables for equipment, systems or installations for low to medium complexity engineering assignments.
+ Preparation of design reports, technical notes and calculations for MV & LV networks.
+ Assists in the preparation of Contract Documents including Specifications, cost estimation and Bills of Quantities for Tender purposes.
+ Coordinates with the factory/global design team to ensure timely delivery, quality and at targeted cost of design tasks.
+ Leads in the implementation of innovative design solutions using the latest industry standards considering quality, safety and sustainability as a minimum.
+ Supervises subordinates, providing guidance and mentorship, as necessary.
+ Reports on progress to the Project Manager and Design Manager as necessary.
+ Contribute to design reviews and design verification and present it for approval.
+ Obtains, analyzes, and circulates technical and contractual information to project disciplines.
+ Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.


* Generate design and detailed engineering deliverables for a particular engineering discipline.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?


* Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Power Engineering.


* 6-10 years of experience in detail engineering design, specifically MV and LV network


* Expertise in Design and Application focus on Electrical System, schematic and control logic.


* Strong knowledge in Electrical Engineering, specifically Power, Control.


* Excellent communication, co-ordination, interpersonal and managerial skills.


* Ability to communicate fluently in English and Thai along with computer literacy is required.


* Power system study competency by ETAP is preferred.
