About the Opportunity

Napa Valley Care Center is seeking an organized and dependable Staffing Coordinator to join our administrative team.

In this important role, you'll help ensure our residents receive the care they deserve by managing employee schedules, maintaining adequate staffing levels, and supporting our nursing department's daily operations.

Key Responsibilities


* Prepare and maintain daily and weekly staff schedules for nursing and support departments


* Track attendance, call-offs, and shift coverage


* Coordinate with department heads to fill open shifts and ensure appropriate staffing ratios


* Maintain accurate records of employee schedules and time-off requests


* Communicate staffing updates to leadership and nursing teams


* Assist with onboarding, timekeeping, and other administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications


* Prior experience as a staffing coordinator or scheduler in healthcare or skilled nursing (preferred)


* Strong organizational and time management skills


* Excellent communication and customer service skills


* Proficiency with scheduling software, Microsoft Excel, and basic computer programs


* Dependable, flexible, and able to handle changing priorities
