What We're Looking For:

Michael Baker International is seeking a Finance Coordinator to join our Corporate Shared Services team, reporting to the Director of Payroll.

The successful candidate will work 30 hours per week and be eligible for benefits.

They must reside in the Pittsburgh metro area and have the ability to attend occasional meetings at our Moon Township, PA office.

There is the potential for future career growth within the organization based on career development.

A Remote working arrangement is available within the US.

Candidates must reside within the Pittsburgh, PA metropolitan area.

Relocation is not available.

What You'll Do:


* Coordinate and manage documentation for the Payroll Department, ensuring accuracy and timely submission


* Maintain and update payment records by logging into various client portals to input details on payments received from and issued to subcontractors


* Respond to payroll audit requests by gathering and organizing required information


* Support Payroll Analysts by collecting and verifying new hire documents


* Run weekly timecard reports and follow up with employees to resolve discrepancies


* Assist with special projects within the Finance group as needed

What You Need to Succeed:


* High School Diploma or GED


* 1-3 years of related experience


* Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe


* Self-motivated, flexible, and able to seek our objectives to complete tasks with minimal direction


* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment


* Possess excellent business communication skills, both written and verbal


* Detail oriented with high personal standards relating to quality of work


* Team player with ability to interact with all levels of employees

Compensation:

The approximate compensation range for this position $19.00 - $23.00 per hour.

This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.

Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
