We are looking for a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to leads the dietary department to ensure residents receive safe, nutritious, and enjoyable meals every day.

This role works to meet dietary needs and maintain compliance with CMS, state health department, and food safety (HACCP) standards.

⚙️ Key Responsibilities

✅ Plan, organize, and supervise all aspects of the dietary department
✅ Ensure meals meet nutritional and regulatory requirements
✅ Oversee food preparation, service, and sanitation for safety and quality
✅ Collaborate with the Registered Dietitian on individualized meal plans
✅ Train, schedule, and evaluate dietary staff performance
✅ Maintain inventory and control food costs efficiently
✅ Participate in QAPI (Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement) activities

? Qualifications

⭐ Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Certified Food Protection Professional (CFPP) — Required
⭐ Active member in good standing with ANFP (Association of Nutrition & Foodservice Professionals)
⭐ 2+ years of experience in long-term care or healthcare dietary management preferred
⭐ Knowledge of HACCP, infection control, and state/federal dietary regulations
⭐ Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

General Purpose

The Dietary Director oversees all aspects of the dietary department, including meal planning, food preparation, and service delivery.

This role ensures that meals are safe, nutritious, and tailored to meet each resident's individual needs in accordance with physician orders, approved menus, and regulatory standards.

The director manages staff, maintains budget compliance, and coordinates with other departments to support resident well-being and satisfaction.

Essential Duties


* Direct and participate in the preparation and service of meals that are safe, appetizing, and meet prescribed dietary needs
