Role reports to:
Sr Counsel Product Liability Litigation

Location:
North America, United States, New Jersey, Summit

Work Location:
Fully Onsite

What you will do


* Ensure that incoming legal documents are processed against in a time-sensitive fashion with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.


* Exercise discretion in handling sensitive, confidential legal matters.


* Ability to quickly and efficiently identify and process documents, including non-litigation matters that are forwarded to other departments, i.e.

HR, payroll, tax, finance and trademark.


* Partner with the Information Services and mail services to ensure all incoming documents are handled, filed or distributed appropriately and in a timely fashion.


* Collaborate with paralegals in a true team environment to ensure smooth transition of information; align on all practices and modifications to workflow.


* Act as the primary contact for CT Corporation, the registered agent for US-based operating companies.


* Maintain relevant internal contact lists for direction of legal matters.


* Produce weekly Intake Report for distribution to Litigation team.


* Conduct training of relevant personnel in SOP Intake process, as needed.


* Document and implement changes to Intake Procedures, as necessary.


* Monitor internal and external Service of Process mailboxes daily


* Coordinate Intake support/backup with external Litigation Support Team


* Review annual PO for adjustments/continuation of ongoing Litigation Support team service


* Coordinate with Finance to provide PO charges for affiliate work completed quarterly by the Litigation Support team.


* Assist litigation team as needed.

Qualifications

Education:


* A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

Experience and Skills:

Required:


* A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required.


* Proven experience working in a corporate law department or law firm is required.
