Salary Range $95k-$105k

POSITION TITLE: Sr.

Software Engineer

REPORTS TO: Software Engineering Director

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


* Understands and relates customer needs to the products we develop.


* Defines functional specifications, high-level designs and architecture.


* Performs impact analysis of implementation decisions for security, compliance, scalability and high availability.


* Supervises junior members of the team for as a subject matter expert including task allocation and estimation.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


* Proficient in one or more areas for Cloud development such as:


* Software architecture such as Application, System or Solutions architecture


* Hands-on experience with Cloud infrastructure such as Google cloud platform or Amazon Web Services


* Hands-on web Application software development experience


* Database experience in both SQL and NoSQL databases such as Postgres (AlloyDB), Big Query and Redis


* Python experience including frameworks such as Flask or Django


* GUI design, usability testing and design tools


* HTML, JavaScript (preferably TypeScript), CSS


* Web services development experiences REST and MQTT


* Web application frameworks, such as Angular and Aurelia


* Kubernetes and/or containerized application development


* Advanced knowledge of developing software in Linux Operating System


* Knowledge of development tools (IDE), source code control (Git)


* Experience working in Agile / Kanban product development environment


* Debugging and trouble shooting skills using Visual Studio

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS


* Bachelor’s degree in EE, CE or CS required


* 4+ years of work experience with 2+ years as a senior software developer.

COMPENSATION AND OTHER

$95k-$105k
