Koch Engineered Solutions is hiring an Associate of Strategy and Business Development in Wichita, KS.

Our ideal candidate possesses the ability to effectively and concisely translate detailed financial and market analysis into key takeaways and actionable items for our leadership team.

This role will partner closely with business leaders across the organization to develop and implement key growth strategies and investment theses to shape the future of KES.

What You Will Do

Work closely with Strategy & Business Development team, senior business leaders, and external consultants, with particular focus on:



* Financial Analysis: Build and maintain financial models, valuation analyses, and investment analyses to support investment decision-making.


* Market Analysis: Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform operational and strategic decisions for KES businesses and inorganic growth opportunities.


* Strategic Collaboration: Support the execution of growth strategies, including organic growth or add-on acquisitions.


* Performance Optimization: Assist in identifying and implementing business efficiencies in KES companies (e.g., cost reduction, process optimization).

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)



* Strong analytical and financial modeling skills


* A Self-starter, highly focused and working independently


* Strong critical thinking skills and ability to develop creative solutions without a set framework


* Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including MS Excel and PowerPoint


* Experience building and maintaining financial models, valuation, and investment analyses.


* Ability to conduct market and competitive analyses.

* 2+ years of experience working at a leading consulting firm or investment bank


* Critical thinking and point of view (POV) development skills
