Senior Analyst - Systems, Data & Analytics
Job Description
Utilize knowledge of computer science and technology management to assist in the development of strategic plans and decision-making processes for information systems, data management, financial aid modeling and analytics to support strategic enrollment and student success goals.
Collect, maintain, and make effective use of admissions, enrollment, retention, and student success data to enable timely, accurate, data-driven decision-making, with the primary goal of providing timely, relevant, and actionable information; prepare research reports, presentations, dashboards, white papers, and other communications containing descriptive, analytical, pictorial, tabular, written and evaluative content including the preparation of conclusions and forecasts based on data summaries and other findings; and provide initial training and ongoing support to Slate users, including assisting relevant users with the creation and maintenance of workflows and business processes within Slate.
Use ETL tools, including Alteryx, for data preparation and automate daily enrollment processes; compose periodic reports for applications and enrollment in Tableau; and create, maintain, and test queries in Slate.
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Technology Management, or a related field; 2 years of experience working with complex data in a higher education environment, including admissions, enrollment, retention, and student success data; 1 year of experience preparing research reports, presentations, dashboards, white papers, and other communications containing descriptive, analytical, pictorial, tabular, written and evaluative content; 1 year of experience utilizing Alteryx for data preparation and automation of daily enrollment processes; 1 year of experience utilizing Tableau to compose reports for applications and enrollment; 1 year of experience utilizing Slate to create queries, support users, and create and maintain workflows and business processes.

Compensation Range
In compliance with the New Jersey Wage Transparency Act, the annual base range for this position is $71,000-$110,100.
This range represents the University’s good faith estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting.
Stevens Institute of Technology determines compensation based on factors including the position’s scope and responsibilities, the candidate’s experience, education, skills, internal equity, market data, and organizational considerations.
The final salary will be set considering departmental budget, qualifications, and relevant credentials.
This pay range represents base pay only and excludes additional forms of compensation, such as incentives, stipends, or other applicable pay components.
