Part Time



* Maintain department's supplies and keeps equipment operational.


* Organize, label and file charts and medical records.


* Help transport residents as needed.


* Act as an information resource for patients, families, visitors, physicians, and outside reviewers in person and/or via telephone.


* Complete clerical duties for admissions, discharges, transfers, deaths and passes such as transcribing orders to medication/treatment sheets, ordering medications, dietary changes, therapies etc.


* Complete lab and special examination requisitions and data entry, as it pertains to the medical records department.


* Greet visitors, doctors, and new admissions with warmth and friendliness; helping with any assistance needed.


* Transcribe and verify admission orders and daily doctor's telephone orders will be verified and transcribed in a timely manner.


* Complete medical records by reviewing and assembling paperwork in proper order into a permanent folder.


* Order labs, ultrasounds etc.

required for new admissions.
