Receiver

Bob Barker Company is looking for a Receiver to join our Utah Distribution Center inbound team.

As part of the team, you will help improve team performance and production by driving opportunities for efficiency.

You will service our customers while working with internal customers to make changes that will lead to increased sales and profits.

Responsibilities


* Verify, identify and inspect incoming products, referring to purchase orders and shipping documents.


* Prepare receiving reports.

Note and record shortages and damaged materials.


* Establish if incoming materials require inspection or testing and maintain lot traceable documentation.


* Use forklift or designated material handling equipment to transport materials to work or storage areas.


* Enter inventory transactions (in or out) into computer system.


* Monitor first in-first out control of inventory to production.

Assemble orders for shipment (cross dock).


* Select packaging or shipping containers for materials not packed.

Specify kinds of crates or skids.


* Use RF devices and print labels as necessary.


* While performing the duties of the job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and the noise level can be loud.

* Experience in a Manufacturing or Distribution environment preferred

Educational/Certification Requirements


* Forklift Certification (in house)


* High School Diploma/GED
