Your Role:
Elanco is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team.
This role is critical in supporting Elanco's financial planning, forecasting, and analysis processes, providing key insights to drive strategic decision-making across the organization.
The Senior Financial Analyst will play a vital role in developing financial models, preparing comprehensive reports, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure financial objectives are met.
Your Responsibilities
* Lead the development and maintenance of complex financial models for budgeting and forecasting.
* Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario planning, to identify key drivers and potential risks/opportunities.
* Prepare and present clear, concise financial reports and presentations for senior leadership, highlighting performance against targets and providing actionable insights.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data, understand business drivers, and support strategic initiatives.
* Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reviews, ensuring accuracy and adherence to corporate timelines.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of FP&A activities.
· Manage and serve as a key liaison for OneStream planning processes, collaborating closely with broader finance teams to ensure data integrity and process efficiency.
* Support ad-hoc financial projects and analyses as required by management.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications):
* Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution with concentration / emphasis in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
* Required Experience: Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in financial planning/forecasting/ reporting projects or processes, with a publicly traded company.
* Language fluency in English (written and verbal).
* Strong computer skills with Excel and PowerPoint.
