In this role, you will:


* Accountable for all aspects of Hosting including systems specification and design, ensuring high availability, scalability, disaster recovery, and compatibility with enterprise architectures.


* Selects appropriate design standards, methods, and tools validating they are applied effectively.


* Advises system development teams on cloud technology design options.


* Conducts research on emerging technologies in support of cloud and infrastructure development efforts and recommends technologies that will increase cost-effectiveness and infrastructure flexibility.


* Develops and maintains cloud standards and common services.


* Participates in the assessment, impact analysis, and selection of cloud-based solutions.


* Cloud / Infrastructure Operations


* Guides internal resources and external partners in the daily operations of cloud infrastructure solutions.


* Participates in the resolution of urgent and complex technical issues.


* Investigates design and functionality issues, making recommendations for remedial action.


* Risk Management and Controls


* Ensures the risks associated with the use of cloud technology are understood and that measures to mitigate the risk are adopted where appropriate.


* Designs solutions with appropriate privileged access management, in compliance with security policies and best practices.
