Leave Management Specialist (Temporary)

We're seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Leave Management Specialist to oversee leave of absence administration for all staff, including clinicians.

This temporary role serves as the primary contact for employees and leaders, ensuring seamless coordination with our absence management vendor and accurate entry into the HRIS system.

You'll manage State Paid Leave programs, ADA accommodations, and support broader HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:


* Administer FMLA, ADA, and State Paid Leave programs in compliance with applicable laws.


* Coordinate with third-party vendors and maintain HIPAA-compliant medical documentation.


* Track leave usage, ensure accurate payroll coordination, and manage benefit premium payments.


* Provide empathetic support to employees on leave and facilitate return-to-work processes.


* Generate reports, identify trends, and recommend process improvements.


* Support cross-functional HR projects and maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal changes.

Education and Skills:


* Bachelor's degree in HR (preferred) and 2+ years of direct leave administration experience.


* Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, OR/WA State Paid Leave laws.


* Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.


* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.

Pay Range:
$68,470.00 - $102,707.00

Benefits-eligible employees accrue PTO and Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked, totaling 120 hours in the first year for full time staff and 200 hours in the first year for full time supervisors and above, increasing in subsequent years.

PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE/hours worked.

Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked.

Employees will also enjoy up to six paid holidays per year, depending on schedule.
