The Commercial Director (CD) Haematology is responsible and accountable for the short-, medium-, and long-term commercial success of the product portfolio of the respective Business Units (BUs).

The CD is responsible for the P&L according to the defined portfolio level.

The allocation of resources (budget & headcount) on portfolio level in alignment with overall local strategy of the operating company (OpCo), the strategic alignment with the local operating company (OpCo), the CE&B (Central Europe & Baltics) Cluster and Mid-Size-Market (MSM) strategy, as well as with the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and African Region) Strategy Organization (ESO) are the positions core responsibilities and accountabilities.

At this level, the position has a significant degree of impact on Janssen business results and has responsibility for coordinating and managing a group of team leaders and professionals.

The Commercial Director is a member of the Janssen Poland Management Board (PLT)

Essential duties and responsibilities:



* Ensures the short (Business Plans)-, medium- and long-term (LRFP) commercial success of a Business Unit portfolio (BU portfolio and P&L responsibility)


* Develops the business strategy on local level and provides input to CD&B, MSM, and EMEA level strategy.


* Defines the strategic and resource allocation priorities on BU level and aligns them with the local strategy as well as with the respective team members of the Polish Management Board.


* Drives the strategic headcount planning exercise and defines the best mid- to long-term Go-To-Market Models


* Manages a cost-efficient performance within the respective Business Units under his/her leadership.


* Steers and oversees the operational deployment of the Business Units strategies


* Ensures an alignment within the local Management Board with important internal stakeholders (e.g.

Market Access, Medical Affairs, CDS Lead, Governmental Affairs,)


* Represents the company’s position towards important internal and external stakeholders


* Is member of the Polish Leadership Team (PLT)
