Your Role: Regional Director, Southeastern, US

As a Regional Director within the US Pet Health Veterinary Sales organization, you’ll lead a region of the organization which includes 10 District Sales Managers as direct reports and ~ 100 Sales Representatives as indirect reports.

 This region will cover and will set the strategic vision for their portion of the business.

As the Pet Health organization embarks on a historic launch period, your leadership will be critical to the success of Elanco.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving revenue growth, managing high-performing sales teams, and developing strategic sales plans.

This role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of the industry

Your Responsibilities:


* Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the region.


* Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of District Managers and Sales Representatives to meet and exceed sales goals.


* Identify and pursue new business opportunities by understanding market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.


* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.


* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, to align strategies and drive overall company growth.


* Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activity to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.


* Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and insights to senior leadership.


* Drive sales team development through training, coaching, and professional development initiatives.


* Keep up to date with industry trends, market changes, and emerging technologies to stay ahead in the market.

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):


* Education: Bachelor’s Degree


* Experience: Minimum of at least 10 years’ experience in companion animal veterinary pharmaceutical sales management.
