Rate Range: $58-$64
Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

We are currently seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapy Specialist to join our dynamic team.

This role focuses on optimizing function and improving the quality of life for patients with hand and upper extremity conditions.

Key Responsibilities:


* Assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions for patients with hand and upper extremity injuries or conditions.


* Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and healthcare team members.


* Utilizes evidence-based practices to guide treatment decisions and enhance recovery outcomes.


* Provide education and support to patients and their families on injury management and rehabilitation strategies.


* Perform splinting and fabrication of orthotic devices as needed.


* Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans accordingly.


* Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory requirements.


* Collaborate with other rehabilitation staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:


* Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.


* Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.


* Specialty certification in hand therapy (CHT) preferred or willingness to pursue certification.


* Previous experience in hand therapy, orthopedic rehabilitation, or similar setting is preferred.


* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
