Commercial & Investment Bank Strategy, Digital & Platform Services Strategic Execution, Vice Preside

This role provides the opportunity to work on key strategic initiatives on our Digital & Platform Services (DPS) Strategic Execution team.

The DPS Strategic execution team is part of J.P.

Morgan's larger Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) Strategy Americas organization, which functions as an internal consulting group and works on a project basis to address topics at the top of senior management agendas.

As a Vice President on the DPS Strategic Execution team, you will take the lead in managing fast-paced projects to solve complex problems and implement critical initiatives.

Projects include developing the overall strategy, governance, organizational structure, operating model, architecture, and processes for the DPS organization.

You will work closely with the senior leaders on the Strategy team, as well as leaders across the DPS organization.

Job Responsibilities:


* Lead initiatives and projects to resolve diverse problems identified by senior managers of the DPS organization


* Lead teams of 1-3 junior strategists to develop and execute solutions / projects in partnership with business leaders


* Gather, synthesize, and creatively analyze data (e.g., financial modeling, valuation analysis) to provide insights, identify issues and arrive at recommendations


* Develop and execute work plans to test / evaluate strategies and insights which could span process improvement and organizational change efforts and identify potential roadblocks / obstacles and escalate issues, as needed


* Plan and execute research with business partners via in-depth interviews, facilitated working sessions, design workshops, focus groups, and surveys


* Develop and apply an understanding of innovation in financial services and emerging technologies (e.g., Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Robotic Process Automation) to help reimagine the future of D&PS


* Support early-stage execution and op model for new priority areas to validate strategic assumptions


* Develop strategic presentations for both internal and external audiences


* Coach and mentor less experienced colleagues; create and/or contribute to an environment of collaboration and mutual responsibility
