Responsibilities

Strategic Content Leadership



* Develop and lead content strategy for AutoZone's digital platforms (AutoZone.com and Mobile App), ensuring alignment with brand identity, business goals, merchandising, and customer needs to maximize conversions.


* Collaborate with cross-functional teams-Merchandising, Marketing, Product, and UX/UI-to ensure content aligns with team and organizational objectives.


* Create and execute data-driven content plans to enhance the customer experience and improve key performance metrics.

Content Development & Management



* Oversee the creation of impactful digital content that drives traffic and conversions across all platforms.


* Establish and enforce guidelines to ensure consistency and high-quality standards across digital touchpoints.


* Manage timelines and deadlines for content initiatives, maintaining organized planning and scheduling for both monthly and ad hoc releases.

Performance Optimization



* Leverage analytics tools to evaluate content performance, identify trends, and implement optimized strategies.


* Conduct regular A/B testing and usability studies to refine content and elevate user engagement.


* Collaborate with SEO and SEM teams to ensure content is optimized for search discoverability and performance.

Team Leadership & Development



* Lead and mentor a team of content specialists, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and sales-driven focus.


* Communicate effectively with leadership by presenting strategic initiatives and performance results.

Innovation & Industry Awareness



* Stay informed about digital trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to position AutoZone as a leader in digital engagement.


* Advocate for and implement innovative solutions to enhance the customer experience and set the brand apart in a competitive landscape.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:



* Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing or similar field or equivalent years of experience


* 7-10 years of experience in marketing and project management


* Experience or understanding of digital touchpoints (online, mobile, display advertising, SEO, paid search, email)
