Cable Assembler I

Primary Responsibilities


* Use of hand tools / cutters: Prepping cable ends


* Use of hand tools / electric screwdriver: Assembling of cable components


* Ability to work from detailed instructions / blueprints and conform to strict quality
assurance guidelines


* Ability to work on various machines like crimping and labeling equipment.


* Other duties as assigned

Technical Knowledge/Skills Required


* Must be able to function well in a team or group environment


* Must be able to communicate well.


* Must be able to read and understand assembly drawings/bill of materials, written work
instructions and distinguish colors in multi conductor cables


* Must be able to lift up to 40-50 lbs


* Could be sitting or standing for long periods of time.


* Could be doing the same work task for a longer period of time.


* Minimum one-year related work experience in an industrial environment


* Good attendance, attitude and work ethic


* Crimping of cables a plus.

+ Shop Supervisor
+ TQA General Manager
