PRODUCE-FLORAL MDSG/FIELD MERCHANDISER

Work collaboratively with field specialist and store teams in the execution of sales plans.

Execute the Corporate Produce/Floral Merchandising strategies and plans for respective division.

Ensure execution of and establish store accountability for sales plans for the Produce department through frequent and timely store visits; encourage valuable feedback from store leadership, field specialist, and associates that provide opportunities to increase sales, profits.

Address issues that hinder stores' ability to meet/exceed customers' expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, cleanliness, regulatory and food safety.

Coach and develop direct reports and stores teams to achieve and execute all goals and company strategies and maintain a supply of qualified, promotable individuals.

Minimum
- Any store management experience
- System and software knowledge
- Ability to manage and lead associates
- Ability to establish priorities, anticipate consumer trends, and project/react to business issues

Desired
- Bachelor's Degree
- Any procurement or category management background
- Any district manager or corporate Produce coordinator experience- Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports
- Communicate Produce plans through frequent and timely store visits and encourage valuable feedback from store leadership, field specialist, and Produce associates that provide opportunities to increase sales and profits
- Work with field specialist to resolve store issues and remove barriers that prohibit the stores from implementing the Produce department sales plan
- Execute the division sales plans and measurement of execution
- Understand the competitive landscape within the division and provide feedback to corporate Merchandising
- Oversee the execution of the corporate weekly sales plan to include providing feedback to corporate Merchandising
- Work with field specialist in identifying department training needs and ensure the effective use of the training
- Collaborate with corporate merchandising on executing local seasonal and special merchandising programs
- Monitor the daily/weekly reports to identify any product cost or transportation charge corrections
- Communicate the corporate sales plan in execution meetings
- Ensure all store associates, store leadership, field specialists and district managers have a complete understanding of all aspects and functions of the Produce department and its alignment with the company strategy
