Lead Software Engineer - JAVA, AWS, Cucumber, Selenium, API

As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Sector, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way.

As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.

Job responsibilities:


* Design and build web based dashboard application for metrics as needed


* Design and develop new test automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, Cucumber and Rest Assured


* Provision AWS resources like EC2, RDS, s3 using Terraform Infrastructure as code


* Provide comprehensive qTest product support and maintenance for internal users, including troubleshooting, user training, and maximize tool adoption and effectiveness


* Lead strategic evaluation sessions with external vendors to assess solutions, drive favorable outcomes, and manage feature request pipelines to ensure alignment with business objectives and technical requirements


* Enable interfaces between different systems to improve overall operation stability as needed


* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to be part in culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:


* Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience


* Minimum of 3 years of experience serving as a senior engineer or technical lead, demonstrating proven ability to drive development team initiatives while maintaining strong individual contributor


* Atleast 2+ years of experience in full-stack software development, specifically using Java, spring based technologies


* Proven experience (7+ years ) in design and development of test automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, Cucumber & API's


* Strongs hands on experience in automating shadow DOM Host, Root, and Tree objects


* Experience in provisioning AWS services like EC2, RDS , s3 and enabling the connections as needed


* Experience in Tosca automation tool is an added advantage


* Proven record in anyone of the test managements tools like qTest/ALM (site admin role preferred)


* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automated tests.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:


* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.


* Experience in java full stack development


* Experience in Agile development methodologies.


* Expertise in architecting and implementing test automation frameworks using Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies


* Familiarity with DevOps practice...
