Central Supply - Antelope Valley Care Center



* Manages the ordering and stocking of central supply items such as briefs, gloves, gowns, and over-the-counter medications.


* Maintains and organizes facility inventory to ensure accurate levels and timely replenishment.


* Monitors usage trends and communicates concerns about overuse or waste of supplies to department leaders.


* Identifies and evaluates new products or systems that enhance efficiency for nursing staff and facility operations.


* Ensures budget compliance through cost-effective purchasing and vendor negotiations.


* Builds and maintains positive relationships with outside vendors and supply representatives.


* Utilizes ordering software and basic contract knowledge to streamline procurement processes.


* Provides assistance to other departments as needed to support overall facility operations.


* Maintains proficiency in Microsoft Suite and performs administrative tasks using office equipment.


* Adheres to physical and environmental safety standards, including the ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and work in a low-to-moderate noise environment.
