What are we looking for?

The Laboratory Technician, Flotation Met, working under the supervision of the Lab Manager, will perform tasks as assigned per project manager such as receive and prepare samples to conduct laboratory testing as requested by the client.

There will be a key focus on flotation testing, with responsibility for materials testing processes, handling and preparing samples, and providing written analysis in a laboratory environment.

The ideal candidate for the Laboratory Technician role will have a desire to work in learning environment, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and/or in a team setting.

Shift/Schedule: Standard office hours, Monday-Friday

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:


* High school Diploma or GED required


* Attention to detail


* Some Experience in Flotation Testing


* Strong problem-solving and communication skills


* Technical writing


* Analytical thinking skills

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:


* Previous applicable metallurgy laboratory experience is preferred
